Merry Christmas Around The World
Christmas is one of the major festivals for the people having a faith in Christianity. Merry Christmas around the world is celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Nowadays, with the emergence of the world as a global village, not only the Christians celebrate Christmas but the festival is celebrated by the people of other religion as well. Christmas is celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious sprit. In various parts of the world, the date and the ways of celebrating Christmas differ from each other, but the spirit and true fervor of the religion remains the same. For some of the people the celebration of Christmas last for a day while for some, celebrating Christmas continues for a month. People celebrate this festival of Christmas with the Advent on Sunday that comes after November 26 and come to an end with the feast of Epiphany on January 6.
People all over the world wait for the whole year to celebrate merry Christmas. Months in advance people make plans to celebrate this festival. During this festive season, people spend money and decorate their houses with holly wreaths candles, ribbons and artificial stars and balls of bright colors. The streets are lit up with a wide range of lights which gives the cities a fabulous look. Moreover, during Christmas, people also have Christmas tree ornamented with various artifacts and stars. It is also the time of presenting gifts to friends and relatives and to host lunch and dinner parties. Santa Claus comes to present gifts to small kids on a chariot drawn by reindeers. On the 25th of December, Christians make it a point to go to the churches to offer prayers to Lord Jesus, so feel the sprit of Merry Christmas Around The World with you family and friends.
