Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province in south-west China. This city is rich in its agricultural wealth and is also known as 'Land of Milk and Honey'. The city is divided into five districts and 12 counties. Chengdu is connected to other cities via three bus stations in the city. Train connection is also available to places like Kunming in Yunnan, Chongqing and Xian. The airport at the city is located 20 km outside the city and is linked to most of the cities in China and some international destinations like Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Singapore and Osaka. To get around there are city buses plying all over the city. Taxis equipped with meters and bicycle-propelled pedicabs called san lun che, hired bicycles, and subway system are also available.
