As we know that it was the best opening ceremony ever in the history of Olympics. Let us not recall the Atlanta's circus of 1996... this was one of the lamest lighting of olympic torches ever. You can see the hydraulic torch is one of the unusual torch designs ever and the funding for this lame torch is probably why the city was almost not ready in time for the games.
